Dear clients,
With the uncertainty and confusion bought on by the current COVID-19 pandemic, it is more important than ever to ensure all our affairs are in order. We do not know what is in store for us next week, month or year; with the pandemic spreading through our community faster than ever, it is essential that we can at least have certainty that things will be dealt with in the way that we choose in the event we are unable to express those choices ourselves.
While there are many reasons to remain hopeful throughout this period, we strongly urge you to check your existing estate plan to ensure it is up to date and accurately reflects your wishes. Should you find that changes are required, or indeed if you have not yet taken steps to prepare an estate plan, please contact our office and we can guide you through the process. We are also able to assist in reviewing any insurance arrangements you have in place to ensure they meet your needs.
We would encourage an Estate Plan which reflects how you would like your estate to be dealt with in the event of your passing, and a power of attorney that enables a chosen person to make decisions on your behalf in the event that you are incapacitated and unable to make them yourself.
Once again, if you have any concerns regarding this, or would like to discuss any of these points, please contact our Salisbury office on (07) 3875 9888 or Capalaba and Woolloongabba office on (07) 3245 9966.
