$6.15 billion in concessional finance now available — implications for your business

Concessional Finance

Dear Valued Client,

We wanted to bring a significant funding development to your attention.

The Federal Government has opened access to $6.15 billion in concessional finance through the National Reconstruction Fund.  The capital has been brought forward from its originally scheduled mid-year release, with the intent of supporting Australian businesses through ongoing supply chain and market pressures.

Three programs are now available:

  1. Economic Resilience Program — $1 billion. Zero-interest loans of up to $5 million for businesses operating in fuel, fertiliser, plastics, agricultural chemicals and other critical supply chains, where turnover is below $100 million.
  2. Net Zero Fund — $5 billion. Concessional finance for manufacturing investment, energy-efficiency upgrades, and clean-energy supply chain projects, including wind, solar, storage, and low-carbon liquid fuels.
  3. Forestry Growth Fund — $150 million. Support for timber processing, mill upgrades, and value-add facilities connected to housing construction

Applications are now open.

If you are considering investment in additional capacity, capability or decarbonisation – or if supply chain volatility is affecting your operations – we would welcome the opportunity to discuss whether any of these programs align with your plans.

Kind regards,
